Our Practice

We are practising Irish tax advisers. Our principal Paul McMahon is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute and has practised as a qualified tax practitioner for over 16 years.

We advise on Irish taxation issues that arise for businesses in the context of the establishment of a subsidiary or other presence in Ireland. We advise on ongoing tax compliance obligations in respect of corporation tax,  on employees income and value-added tax.

We advise on tax issues arising for employees and others in relocating to Ireland or working in Ireland for part of the year. We advise on pension obligations and options. We advise on share-based remuneration possibilities.

We work with clients’ UK or associated Irish tax advisers where applicable, with a view to optimising the overall taxation position for corporate groups. We advise on the Irish transfer pricing legislation. We advise on reliefs and incentives available under the corporation tax code, in particular, those in relation to research and development and intellectual property.

We advise on the tax issues in relation to employee secondment to Ireland. Non-domiciled status may facilitate personal tax savings. Where key employees or officers have a long-term basis for engagement in Ireland we advise on optimal arrangements in respect of estate planning under Irish capital gains inheritance and related taxes.

We advise on customs and VAT compliance and other issues in EU and non-EU trade. We advise on favourable reliefs and treatments that may be available in respect of VAT and customs

We advise on intercompany issues arising in respect of all relevant taxes and in particular in respect of VAT and customs duties, where there is a UK company and an Irish subsidiary or branch.
